Hello, I work with a 70% beeswax-30% coconut oil blend and have had a hard time with sinkhole and tunnelling well burning. Your tutorial was fantastic! I add essential oil’s to my candles and fix them with a heat gun after. I’ve always had trouble with the scent not being present after they were cured. But what you said about using the heat gun and killing the fragrance totally makes sense! So thank you!

I used to have a candle and bath and body business as an extra but had to give it up for our much larger family business (machine shop). Here’s a easier method: get a Presto kitchen Kettle. Drill a hole In it- get some pipe and on and off spout. My husband did that for me and we kept the thing full with wax. We had 4 of them for the different variety of waxes. Just heat on low so as not to burn it but it doesn’t have to be watched constantly. Put the lid on when cool and store away. It saved so much time. I do it for fun now and am teaching my granddaughters. We had a “lab” that we built inside our machine shop just for my bath and body business but had to close for lack of time and my daughters who were my partners had 5 kids in four years. I still have that “lab” and expanded it for my sewing also. It’s pure fun now but I had tons of supplies left. Soap, sugar scrubs and my famous body cream is my favorite thing to make. I refused to sell my recipes to interested parties when I closed and will teach my grand girls (4 of them). Have fun.

Thank you so much for this. This is the best tutorial on KZbin so far. Others forget to mention basics, always.

Where do you order your labels? I’ve ordered on vista prints but I’d like a more elegant and better quality label. LOVE your videos by the way :-)

This was AMAZING!!!! I am shocked at how much scent oil needs to go in 16 ounces of wax! That means if a Bath & Body works candle is 14.5 ounces, the there is almost a whole vial of scent oil in just that one candle!! 😳 Going to take a look at your website now. Looking for a strong coffee scent that doesn't smell like stale coffee and farts like Bath & Body Works only coffee scent does. Also looking for a rich, buttery, pancake and authentic sticky sweet maple syrup scent. 🥞

Any time you can do something with your children or grandkids is a win win. Next time you may have her talk a bit. I know it's intimating for most children. Merry Christmas, great video.
