Look what I found, absolutely amazing Charlie rolled an incredible 117 after 5 frames, en route to a 164. I so much remember way back on a very hot Saturday summer of 1970,watching candlepin bowling on my dad's $50 9" B&W Zenith Charlie Jutras and Paul Romani both bowled 164--160. Mod likely what got me interested in my hometown candlepin bowling leagues,any given Saturday,early 1970s the 10 lanes were packed with over a hundred of kids

I was surprised that only one Bowler on this series got a "Clean Game", notably Rosario Lechiara. In Bowling, a "Clean Game" is when a Bowler gets a mark in every frame in one game.

I saw Lechiara's first appearance and the "Clean Game". That was a great match. I was 9 at the time, December 2, 1967.
