I have played both 10 pin and candlepin and I prefer candlepin. There is way less margin for error. You can use the dead wood as it lies so there is a lot more strategy. I grew up with candlepin so when I started bowling 10 pin in my 20s I didn't find it as challenging. For example. if you leave a single pin you have to be right on it to pick it up with candlepin. Thats not the case with 10-pin, you can be off and still get it.It is a lot easier to hit the pocket as well. I feel like ten pin is there for people who cant candlepin bowl.

This type of bowling I feel is a lot of luck. you can't guarantee a strike, and spares are easy because of the Deadwood on the lane.

No it’s not. The Highest candlepin bowling score ever is a 245 out of 300. It is easily the hardest variation of bowling.

peter hanc videos well it’s not. No professional has ever bowled a perfect game. Also, the pins are extremely far apart and the ball is actually harder to control. The deadwood can also affect performance. Go try it first before judging it.
