❤❤❤ In our house we foster failed on a pair of Chinchillas. It was a steep learning curve... Within the first few days we we're pondering if there was any significance to Princess being a little chubby. One morning as I was literally googling "is my chinchilla pregnant" Popcorn was born. He's a happy, hoppy 4 year old now. Potato was such a proud happy poppa -- in the way I'm sure Beaker will be. Side note: if you're considering the high maintenance life of Chinchilla parenthood... Please don't house a male and female together. As romantic as it may seem, they will keep breeding... Shortening the lifespan of the female.

BABY BIRDS incubating! That's so fun! I hope all three hatch successfully and we get to see these two sweeties as parents! I've incubated chickens, guineas, and turkeys before and its so exciting to see something viable in the eggs. Unfortunately, not all of them make it to hatch stage, but these little tiny embryos are visible and under mama's warm body and loving wings! I'm so excited!!!

We used to incubate chicken eggs in our kitchen back on the farm. I was about 5 years old and would love to watch them hatch and play with the Lil fuzz balls after they dried out and became cute. They would imprint on me as their mama and follow me in line everywhere I went
