Fun fact: This song was the last audio session to be recorded! It was done by Didi Conn and Mark Baker IN ONE TAKE. Didi, Ann's voice, only auditioned because she originally thought the film was a voice over commercial.
@smrpg_game_of_all_time Жыл бұрын
According to Didi Conn in the book about the production of this movie, the song actually took a good amount of takes. This is primarily because, as you said before, this was the last bit to be recorded. Everyone loved working on the movie, so they were sad to see themselves at the end of recording. It got to the point where Joe Raposo (the composer) stepped into the recording booth to help out both Didi and Mark Baker (Andy) emotionally Notably, when Ann said "Times get bad but I don't worry, 'cause I know you'll see me through," Didi looked over to Raposo, and they felt a strong emotional connection. When Ann and Andy sang the final "Close to you," which was therefore the final line recorded, Joe Raposo started crying.

Personally I just haven't found anyone I could understand, don't think I'll ever will. Still, a guy can dream... Take care out there and remember to love what you currently have as well. I remember it like yesterday. Adults on the couch, kids on the floor all circling the television like a 🔥 fire. Time stood still. We heard huge clicks (human remote controllers) as we dialed into one of the three, possibly four (bunny ears perfected) channels. The movie was never spur-of-the-moment, always premeditated. Waiting patiently with what seemed the nation) the chosen entertainment. No complaints, the classics never failed to satisfy. The seasons are marked by the wizard of Oz, It's a wonderful Life and others. The experience each year as good as we expected, the memory even better. The days and weeks of waiting did not diminish, only enhanced. I would trade all our smart TVs for the old Floor TV cabinet with a radio, record player combo. Large hidden speakers, and for some, a little hidden bar beneath the thick wooden lid. This is my memory. If you were blessed, under one arm or beside you on the floor raggedy Ann and Andy joining you. ❤ I want to give that to my children and grandchildren ☺️💯 Do I dare say the good old days? Yes, I dare
