I know bubbline was the couple at the end, but I feel like there's some embedded chemistry they share. At the end Princess Bbblegum noticed he is getting taller, maybe all this ship needed was time. I've seen some art work with these two as pairings from the staff themselves, and artists that did comics for this showed they'll be together when Finn is older. There's also some dreams Finn has, and no matter what, Princess Bubblegum is in it. Of course there's no knowing now since it was over, but I feel like they were something, especially since all it took was PB to be younger to want Finn, she wanted to be with him, but couldn't because of responsibilities. For now, it's Bubbline. They've dated before, and broke off. Maybe again, it will happen, but this time Finn will be older, and Princess Bubblegum will grow to love him as Finn did for her. But who knows huh

Sorry dude, PB is with Marceline, they’re together and in the show they even KISSED. so did Finn and fp, pb x Finn is over. You can still ship it but it’ll never sail. Edit : now fp and cinnamon bun are together, but Marceline and pb are still official.
