In Australasia there was a magazine that had an issue packed with a free Pokémon card. You could either get that Misdreavus or Cool Porygon, which was the rarer of the two. The magazine was in a sealed plastic sleeve, so you didn't know which card you were getting without buying it, at least that was the idea; I saw plenty of opened ones in stores missing their cards courtesy of various lowlifes of the area.

Actually!! About Ditto: in anime canon, almost all ditto CAN transform perfectly into other Pokemon. However, there was only ONE particular ditto (Duplica's ditto) who had a problem that it couldn't transform its face properly. Initially this was scene as a weakness or defect in the ditto until in the end they came to accept the ditto as it was. But yeah, they then just really latched on to this concept and started making merch of it. But at least initially, in the anime, it was just one.

I just looked up that Sachiko card and the attack text for the card's attack, Galaxy Voice, is pretty funny. It reads: " Sing "Ah♪" for as long as you can. This attack does 10 damage times the number of seconds you sing for. (While singing, your opponent counts the number of seconds. Accurately!) " The bottom of the card also points out the obvious: "M Sachiko-EX isn't a Pokémon, but is treated as a Mega Evolution Pokémon. (This card cannot be used at official tournaments.)" Since Sachiko was a singer, this attack makes sense, I guess.
