When I was in 3rd grade, I was walking home from school (I lived at a trailer park town at the time) & saw a Ruby cartridge in the sand. I picked it up & it was saved at the Elite Four. I showed it to an older kid who sold ice cream in the neighborhood. He played it first & lost, then I played it without having ever played Pokemon before, not healing or even knowing how to play. I ended up beating Steven, & that means the first time I ever played Pokemon I became champion. I've been a fan of Pokemon ever since.

My first Pokemon game was Ruby. Truth was I didn't know much about Pokemon games when I first started playing Ruby version. I also didn't know what Shiny Pokemon was back then. I had hard time finding certain locations. I remember my first starter was Torchic and I love Altaria, happy that it got Mega Evolution. Looking back sure brings back good old memories, first Pokemon game that I completed the National Dex was Alpha Sapphire. Such great memories. I grew up with Sapphire. When i was 6, my parents bought me a GBA-SP at a garage sale. With it came pokémon sapphire. I played it...probably countless times. I accidentally left it at a friends house once, and forgot to get it back. He moved, and it got lost. I was 9. Then, in 2017, for my 14th birthday, my parents bought me Alpha Sapphire. I just took a look at the remodel of Mauville City and after my trip from Hong Kong, it just screams to me the similarity on the apartment layouts. The bottom floors are all shops and cafés while the top are all apartments.

I remember I got the eon ticket at school shortly after I got the game. It was nice surprise opening up the game to see I received the ticket and access to Latias. I honestly miss streetpass because thanks to the switch, Nintendo is coming back into the scene of seeing people pulling one out during class and having streetpass features would be a really nice addition.

AWESOME VIDS, as a a gen 1 and 2 pokemon kid I never played gens 3-6 and am just now picking up and playing some of these games and these vids really help determine which versions of the games to buy. As a pokemon fan thank you for all the time and effort you put into making these vids.
