Hi everyone! I attended the Closing Gala of the London East Asia Film Festival and had the pleasure to meet with my former boss and co-stars from Hong Kong once again. I thought I would share my interesting work experience in the film industry with you. Also I had a second birthday celebration with a friend and we enjoyed delicious Spanish tapas. Join us as we walk around central London to take a look at the Christmas decoration for the first time.

Hey Candy, Happy birthday to you. Nice to see something from you again. Whenever I see videos from you, I kind of get sentimental. I am German and because of my work I moved to Shenzhen and lived there for 3 years. Of course I have been many times to Hong Kong as well and I know both sides pretty well. I really got into the Chinese culture and fell in love with it. Later I moved to Suzhou, Jiangsu and lived there some more years near Tai Hu. After all, I had to return to Germany and I really miss that time in China, the smell of 烧烤 in the streets, the KTVs, the Bars, the smell of the Hongkong or Shekou harbour, this so very typical smell of the water there. So completely different from other areas, with this moisture in the air and the heat. I miss the dumplings in a traditional restaurant in Wenzhou, in the old city area for breakfast, or the Hot Pots in Changsha. Yeah! I came quite around in China, sometimes by profession, sometimes just traveling. Now I am here in Germany again. The weather is cold, the sky is grey and rainy and people don't go to 烧烤 after work with colleagues and friends. People are different here and I understand, that I actually have more a Chinese heart and miss the culture so much. Seeing you, always reminds me of my time there and I wonder how you feel without all these things, the smell, the sun, the heat, the weather...

@paulpaulsen7777 Wie geht es deutscher Freund aus Deutschland !!! Es ist schön, von deinen Erfahrungen in China zu lesen. Du könnest in relativ kurzer Zeit viele Veränderungen in diesem Land miterleben. Guangzhou ist meine Heimatstadt und ich vermisse sie sehr, nachdem ich so viele Jahre weg war. Ich hoffe, das Leben behandelt du gut und du wärst bald wiederkommen, um China zu besuchen. Die Welt ist im Moment sehr chaotisch, aber du werden Frieden in sich finden, egal, wo du bist. Ich war vor einigen Jahren zum Oktoberfest in München und vermisse das Ambiente und die Gastfreundschaft der Bayern. Ich hoffe, ich kann noch einmal für einen unvergesslichen Besuch zurückkommen. Ich wünsche dir einen stressfreien Tag und Abend. Tschüss !!!

@ Hallo, vielen Dank für Deine lieben Grüße. Guangzhou kenne ich auch, Freunde von mir waren da, die ich besucht habe. Das alte Stadtzentrum habe ich gesehen und bin auf diesem Hügel mit Seilbahn und Park in der Stadt gewesen. Viel Business mit Textilien und Produkten für oder aus Afrika. Guangzhou ist eine sehr interessante Stadt. Ich muss gestehen, ich war noch nie auf dem Oktoberfest. 你是中国人吗？我非常想中国。 ❤️🇨🇳❤️ Meine meisten Freunde sind in China.

@@paulpaulsen7777 Um deine Frage zu beantworten: Ich bin tatsächlich Chinese, in Guangzhou geboren und in Hongkong aufgewachsen. Kantonesisch ist meine Muttersprache, ich habe an der Universität auch Mandarin, Französisch, Italienisch, Englisch und Deutsch studiert. Aufgrund der Art meiner Arbeit in Kanada stehe ich mit vielen Nationalitäten aus der ganzen Welt in Kontakt. Ich kann mich in 37 verschiedenen Sprachen vorstellen oder Leute begrüßen. Es macht mir Spaß, mit Leuten in ihrem Muttersprachler zu sprechen, sobald sie mir ihren Herkunftsort verraten haben. 我非常想念在广州的家人和在香港的亲戚，特别是粤菜。

@@SSL_SSL Wow! Das ist wirklich sehr beeindruckend, so viele Sprachen zu sprechen. Dein Deutsch ist sehr gut 👍 Mit 16/ 17 war in in California an der Highschool und hab da graduated, daher ist mein Englisch gut, Französisch spreche ich auch, aber mit Chinesisch habe ich leider zu spät angefangen. Ich bin jetzt 54 und ich merke, es wird schwieriger zu lernen. Mein Chinesisch ist wirklich schlecht. Ich kann sagen, was ich möchte und man versteht mich, aber mir fehlen noch zu viele Worte. Auch das Schreiben, die Zeichen lernen geht mir viel zu langsam. Ich lerne immer noch, aber es ist hart. Guangdong hua spreche ich nur wenige Worte, wie Danke, Bitte und ein paar Floskeln. Ansonsten spreche ich noch ein ganz wenig Vietnamesisch und Portugiesisch, aber nicht ausreichend gut. Jaaa Dim Sum aus Hongkong sind die besten, ich liebe sie. In Wenzhou bin ich morgens immer in ein traditionelles Restaurant gegangen, im alten Stadtzentrum nahe dem Ou Fluss um dort Wan Tan zum Frühstück zu essen. So lecker da. Und noch ein paar Fang Zi auf der Strasse gekauft. Ich vermisse dieses Streetfood da, und nach der Arbeit mit Kollegen zum Grillrestaurant gehen. In Shenzhen, Bao'an Xixiang war direkt hinter meinem Haus eine Strasse nur mit Streetfood. So lecker alles.

In the 1980s the Hong kong film industry was the second in the World just after Holywood ,when i was child I used go to the movie theatre watching Kung fu movies but I always thought it was Chinese movies it is later in time I knew it was Hong kong movies.
