You can tell Canelo has complete control..and is just relaxed. I this is very good video showing him relaxed. Many boxers that show any kind of urgence usually end up expanding to much energy...while Canelo waits calmly for you to make a mistake and open up. He is very dangerous to Mayweather. This kid knows what he is doing in the ring and will not give unecessary opportunities unless he can fill the gap with his power shots. Great vid

Its counter punching training...you can tell by his suttle foot movement and head movement he is just really relaxed, the other guys has to move and expand a lot of energy. If Canelo would apply an ounce of pressure to this guy it would be over...Check some of the mosley ones

Remember, boxers don't do spar like they are supposed to on media days... They don't even workout hard enough on media days. Since this is going online, it's so that the opponent doesn't get much information. I'm pretty sure that Canelo does way more without camera's, otherwise we would not see such results on fight night.

how does this sparring suck? he's fighting off his back foot, trying to defend and fight off the ropes, working on timing, footwork. If you watch maxboxings full video of him sparring with the second guy, you'll see him put pressure on him. Canelo is a much heavier puncher i doubt lopez would continue to pressure him but when he does he can fight off his back foot like he's practicing in the video.

Lopez looks very active but ineffective. I have to say that Josesito's mental game is way better now that he defeated a Victor Ortiz I actually think this will be a better fight than most people give credit for. Lets not forget that Cotto's brother who was two weigh divisions under Canelo's almost laid him out.

Sure Buddy...you asked the same question that many boxing analyst asked when Canelo was about to fight Trout. Guess who won?? Canelo has real skill..he displayed it against Trout..He kept his incredible offence and displayed defensive skill as well.. During the 8th round he was able to relax due to his defense then he turned up the heat in the 10,11 and half of the 12. Floyd will have issues with Canelo...He is no Guerrero nor Victor Ortiz with the same right handed exploit deficiences.

Up and comer??? lol he is an established 154 champ that is the best in this division and was undefeated until Canelo showed up...Floyd is good but has not faced someone that has better offence then him with much more power. Mayweather better fight him now..cause Canelo is only getting better...he has ring smarts and as much as people talk about the stamina issues...he still winning because he knows his body and does not waste punches.

Canelo is all hype, he's but not at a champions level. The day he grow some balls and fights a real contender, is the day we'll see how much he sucks. He's always open for the left hook, and has been hurt in past fights. His foot work need much improvement, he come in straight at you, with no head movement. Josesito, is just too small for him, but he will reveal canelos' lack of skill.
