Thats because he stands right at the end of his opponents punching range, he can easily make them miss by inches by simply poking his head in and out of their range, but its important to note that while he does this his lead foot is planted , could be a disadvantage but canelo is also capable of stepping back or inch forward if needed

I am confident that canelo takes a punch really well and he is equally a heavy puncher. His fights with GGG were enough to test his chin. I am excited to watch Canelo and Crawford its gonna be an amazing fight. I believe spence lost because he didn’t have the power and he couldn’t take punches well at all and his tragic accident probably contributed to the loss I also believe Canelo is gonna be the highest skilled fighter Crawford has ever fought his entire career. Berlanga gained a shit-ton of respect in this fight. Everyone hated him before this fight, but no one could deny the man's heart when the last bell rang. This was the wrong referee for this fight. He had no control over the fighters at all, letting them do what they wanted, pretty much. And he never warned Berlanga about using his left as a range finder, which is illegal in boxing. Then he was standing across the ring when Berlanga head butted Alvarez, so no way to break the fighters before ALvarez through a punch. I'd be looking at this ref closer to see if they give him another title fight.
