This was a good fight, and for those who continue to sleep on the power and skill set of Canelo;…let this fight be a lesson to you. Don’t get me wrong…I like Munguia, but he was schooled and I believe he has learned a great education in boxing from a great teacher of boxing in Canelo. Munguia has nothing to be ashamed of, for he is an awesome boxing talent with power; but he was no match for Canelo. I can see a glimpse of Munguia’s boxing skills but he needs the right coach, right promoters to bring his boxing skillset to where it needs to be. In my opinion, Munguia needs a management upgrade. He needs to get away from the current boxing team in his corner; and he defiantly needs to get away from “Golden Boy Productions”. Oscar is a great fighter, but it doesn’t make him a great promoter…he sucks!! Lol Golden Boy Productions couldn't care less about the benefit of its fighter’s but care more about how much money they can line their pockets with or the next social Media sensation. Munguia can be a great fighter but he needs a team who can bring him into his greatness. Munguia has good power, but no boxing skillset to make it greater. Munguia can take a good punch, but has no defensive skills thats going to help him last in the boxing ring. He needs help. Let’s pray that he makes some changes now to further his boxing career that will make him a legendary boxer…like Canelo Alvarez. I tip my hat off to both fighters for giving us boxing fans what we all needed to see…”a great fight”.

Really, Canelo has nothing to prove. Benavidez would be a nice fight. But again, nothing to prove with 60 wins & 2 losses. Retire & enjoy life
