This was a fucking *GREAT* fight. Canelo Alvarez not only has tremendous punching power & accuracy it seems, but has a stellar "fight IQ" as they call it. He thinks of where to place his punches and can assess a situation well. That was the difference in this fight. Credit due to Kirkland also, he's a tough warrior. Kellerman sums it up well at 18:30: "...create something special for boxing fans that were hungry for that kind of fight". This was just a week after the snooze-fest that was MayPac. I mean fans can appreciate tactical efficiency/strategy to an extent, but that was plain boring. Everyone loves an all out war like this fight was.

The more I watch Canelo fights, the more I appreciate this guy. He's getting better and better. Was beaten by GGG in their first, made a draw in their second. Ko'ed Kovalev at Light Heavy. Very impressive.
