Thank you for this video lml. Just a question, Could I use the Sterling ST 131 to record native american flutes???

Hello! Yes you could use a 131 to record a Native American flute but I think this one will do a little better. I have a 131 and I've had a few problems with mine. And I'm not sure what's going on at sterling but all of their mics have been marked down about 50% at Guitar Center! Good luck!

I have the ST151 and I’m using it with a Scarlet Solo interface. With Garage Band as my DAW, do you think setting the mic on a stand in the middle of three instruments (2 guitars and mandolin) playing in a circle would work ok? Thanks for your input.

Hello! From my experience with that this mic I would definitely give it a try! I would put the loudest instruments on the front sides and the quietest instrument facing the front of the mic. I'd also put the mic low at the level of the guitars. Good luck and let us know how it works out!

this mic requires phantom power best to use a mixer...i have seems so far so good.
