I get the vibe that Cang Toys was really inspired by the designs of Mamoru Nagano for this one, particularly the Hyaku Shiki from Zeta Gundam and the Knight Of Gold from Five Star Stories.

I really love the cang toys aesthetic. Hopefully they go on to do the Terrorcons and Seacons. Not sure how well the style would translate to vehicle based robots but I'd be interested to see their take.

I got this guy delivered a week or so ago, and while there's a ton of overly-tight joints and transformation jank (you can capture that red hip skirt with the rotating lower leg part, there's even a place to slot that tab into under there), I can forgive all of it because it just looks so dang cool.

The robot mode looked interesting, combined mode looked like a squished dino mode, but the actual DINO MODE looker amazing!!!! Looking forward to the rest especially, their SLAG. Lastly DINOBOTS NEVER COMBINE.

These look like Age of Extinction dinobots, not trying for G1. The head sculpt is congruent with that (not 100% but I'm pretty sure).

Come paired to predikings legs bots. I think their about even its just snarl has way more kibble/ bits sticking out, making it more messy Still in for this set and great job booby for nor snapping that main back armature piece

I know its been a minute, but I am still lock step with just about everything Bobby is saying here in the first 5 minutes, especially with the animated vibes on the face with first impressions, though I did not specifically target Swoop. This is why, when I was in the market, Bobby was my go-to for market research.
