I just found your channel and I’m really enjoying it! It’s very timely as I’ve been hoping to visit and possibly move to the Bilbao region from the US. Are you living there 100% of the time? Did you ship all of your belongings from the US, or did you leave it all here and buy everything new? I’m curious about the car that you’ve been driving, is it your own or a rental?

Yay! Thank you for watching :) Bilbao's a very cool city. I'm here about 50% of the time now, and wish it could be 100%. Mostly bought new stuff, and it's been refreshing to not have too much clutter. I still need to bring some more things over though. Bought a used car. Renting long-term can get expensive!

@, I hope to be there in the next month or so, and spend several months exploring the area to make sure that it’s a fit. I want to be in a suburb of a city, so I have some exploring to do. Thank you for your videos. I really like them! 👍🏾

@, if I may ask, roughly how much was the cost of your house and roughly what’s it cost you to live in Donostia?

@@jeffp1519 I'd rather not post how much I paid for my house, but you can check out the area on idealista.com for current prices. Aside from real estate being expensive, the cost of groceries and going out are cheap. Utilities are average. I may make a video about the. cost of living in general.

Also what did you say the word “cangas” means? The only definition that I can find is “yoke”, like an harness. I struggled to tell if that’s what you said. 😅

It means "valley" :)

@, that definition makes sense! Strange that I can’t find it anywhere! Valle is valley to me. 🤔
