How is the new mc9L compared to the regular mc9 as for as grip length with the 15 rd mag ? I would guess that it is pretty close. I would almost hate looking at a new mc9 after just getting mine to run good 😁

The Glock trigger is “mushy” because the striker is not fully cocked.

@@S.0.GI didn’t know that until I met a Glock corporate sales rep and he had a Glock 17 with portions of the slide, frame, and magazine cut out and he showed me how the whole system works. It’s pretty amazing from an engineering perspective. The half cocked striker makes the gun a lot safer.

The magazine comparison puts the Glock to shame, there is no reason u can’t fit at least 15 in there especially while canik is doing it with 17 at damn near the same size

I picked up a Cantik MC9L last weekend and straight out of the box I've had problems with light primer strikes 😢 out of each 17 round magazine I am getting two to three light primer strikes. Very disappointed. I've been in contact with Canik and they are sending me a new recoil spring. Hopefully that fixes the problem. I was hoping to replace my Taurus GX4 Carry Toro with the MC9L But now I'm not sure. I've put around 800 rounds through my Taurus and have not had one malfunction 🤔

I tried a few different brands of ammo just to make sure it wasn't the ammo Blazer, Winchester, Ammo and Federal both 115 & 124 grain . I was pretty sure it wasn't the ammo because none of my other pistols have this problem shooting this ammo. I watched a bunch of different videos and there's a few other people that have had this problem. 😢

@S.0.G Yeah it sucks because I really like my other Canik pistols. Have never had a problem with them. I was looking really forward to this one but hopefully with the new recoil spring it'll work out and everything will be fine 🤞

@ I mean holosun is definitely a trustworthy brand but that doesn't mean it's the ONLY brand. In my opinion I wouldn't swap my G Pro for a 507k even if the 507k direct mounted too. I really liked the value of the G Pro and the quality is the same as my holosun so far. Get it bro I think you'll like it a lot

i disagree canik has a FAR better trigger, better capability for light, direct mount for red dots, 2 extra round (if u use the 15rd mags for the glock), more visible loaded chamber indicator, better stippling, and more in the box with the holster and tools. CANIK CLEARSS

Are there better guns on paper that blow Glock out of the water with perks? Yes! Will they go bang everytime is the more important question and we know Glock don’t make lemons 😂.

@ thats cap in the span of a few months i seen 3 glocks thats were lemons, and i cant argue with that the mc9 issue was definitely a bad look give me the glock over the lemons any day but you havent seen anyone having those problems with these new models (l and ls) but i can definitely see why you would take the proven track record when its your life you would be defending
