​@@OhioGunRunner As a quick update, did the swap last weekend. The only part that gave me any trouble at all was getting the pin lined up and into the trigger bar. Everything else was a breeze following along with your video each step of the way. Thank you, brother.

Thank you for this walkthrough. It was very helpful in changing out the trigger shoe on my MC9. There are a couple small differences between the pistol you are using and the MC9, but not enough to require a different video. The whole process only took about 20-25 minutes.

Thank you. I just installed the flat trigger on my Canik Mete SFX and your video was the most helpful I found, even had the same issue with the detent spring. What would’ve been a huge bonus for me, if you had shown how to hold the lil 3 piece assembly in its spot, push in and out while giving a lil jiggle until the spring pops into the correct place. You can immediately feel the difference in how far you can push down on the whole assembly. It took me also bending the spring first while trying to force in the roll pin and maybe damaging the very tip of the detent slightly before figuring this out. Also, the roll pin that comes already half way in the new Canik trigger was extremely tight and took quite some force with a 5/64 punch to get it moving. The included guide rod helped a bit but be careful not to scratch the trigger surface with your tools!

i got the enhanced 90 trigger, i was trying to fallow along to install the new trigger. great job showing how to break it down. but the canik 90 trigger comes with an extra pin and i have no idea if i need it or where it goes. im installing it on a mete sf. any ideas?

It can be used as a slave pin while installing the trigger shoe but not needed. I’ve thrown them all away with the packaging. I’ve done close to 20 of these trigger shoe replacements. Sorry I did not mention it in the video.

Does anyone know which canik flat face trigger works with the MC9?

@@hotrod9073 they don’t list the MC9 but the Canik fits it fine. It does fill up the trigger guard. Probably wouldn’t work with gloves. I’ve put 4 of them in the MC9. As long as it says Mete it will fit.

OMG, why?????? Just remove the trigger return spring and punch out the pin for the trigger bar. You will also have to take out the slide release, but that is all. There is no reason to remove anything else beyond that
