Cani, the game always gives fullbacks the stats of a centre back, so just train them to different positions but don't make the switch .. then you can train up different attributes

what a coincidence, I also did Derby last week and I'm in the 4th season now. still unable to win the premier league but been winning Carabao Cup and FA Cup a few times. in the 1st season, I signed 2 players : LB & RB for rotation after selling another 5 old players. I use 5212 formation (changed it a bit, and it's more like 3412). Finished 9th in 2nd season, signed 5 academy players, 3 immediately put into first team (especially since 2 of the best CBs are loaned players and they left). Change to 4222 formation from here on out, finished 8th. in 3rd season, sold some old players , signed some pre-season free contract the previous January. Finished 6th, gain promotion finally. in 4th season, surprisingly I got about £72mil budget, so I immediately invest in the CB, RB, and ST. Finished 12th
