We hosted this special webinar to address some of the questions swirling around recent news that the HHS recommends changing cannabis from a Schedule I controlled substance down into Schedule III.
We address the potential impact of this change on businesses, researchers, and most importantly, medical cannabis patients.
We cover: what we know, what we don't know, what a change of schedule will do on it's own, how states might respond, and present our own legislation to move cannabis to a newly-created Schedule VI.
Listen in to this important conversation if you could use some clarification about the news stories about Schedule III.
We've also published a blog addressing this issue that you can read at:

Watch another webinar about cannabis scheduling:

It’s basically been legal since 2018. We can get it shipped in the mail. You can buy Thca flower, hemp derived delta 9, Thca distillate/isolate, hhc, delta 8, thco , Thcv and more delivered straight to your door. I would really like for it to be at least schedule 3, as I am a big 2a fan

This is one of the more insidious aspects to this fight to me! There are literally people who are multi-millionaires off of this industry now, meanwhile certain states are still struggling to market quality CBD correctly, if there even is such a thing, since, let's be real, that's not what people want. Just one close look at the new marketing around CBD in recent years, and it's made clear how it's being pushed as Delta-9 instead of just saying it's good ole, regular, full-strength weed, it's like *HELLO!!!!!!!* Also, I don't say this to view the world through the lens of a Just World Fallacy or anything, but it's really actually just unfair, plain and simple. I don't know why people think only gravely ill patients on their last leg of life are the only ones who use and need this, which isn't even to get into the wanting to use weed part either. Our ability to choose for ourselves being throttled by local state laws, meanwhile others have High Times Cups and Las Vegas weed conventions every year, is such a slap in the face! The fact that only certain states have access to this shows the attitude around it as not even being about the money and the taxation, because if it really were, we'd all have access to it by now so we can also pay the taxes on it, but it's more of a series of sluggishly outdated perceptions keeping things this way. If ab*rtion laws can be overturned and books can be banned, I'm not surprised full legalization and decrim of weed hasn't been on the table.

I would love if they would just de-schedule it. Millions of people would still be very mad if they had to go see a doctor just to get weed. If you practically can’t even overdose why would I need to see a doctor? If I have had an amazing use for trauma or stress or sleep in my life why would I need a doctor? What if I can’t afford a yearly card or a doctors visit? I can tell you right now weed has been the safest thing I’ve taken I see it as less dangerous than NSAID’s or Tylenol. Also, wouldn’t a federally controlled drug not be allowed to cross state lines? Don’t we have an issue with taxation and black markets because growers can’t ship weed and it’s taxed too much certain places!!

I think it should be delisted too! Having it still placed on a schedule, even if a lower one, may hinder its study of the exact benefits and detriments of weed usage in its various forms. Whether used recreationally or medicinally in therapeutic settings beyond chronic physical and end-of-life pain management, the continued scheduling of this substance, in my opinion, presents a whole host of issues. The study of cannabis hyperemesis syndrome (CHS), the thriving black markets of less-than-stellar supply available in prohibition states vs. legalized and decriminalized states, the continued racial and financial legacy of blocking out certain communities who grow their own instead of supporting the mainstreaming of dispensaries that charge a premium on access to its products...I could go on! The only way weed use has hurt me has been making me sleepy, as well as the judgemental stigma from people who haven't even tried it! 😄 As far as the crime of crossing state lines, I think it's completely silly for more than half the country to legalize it individually, while heavy penalties a couple hundred miles away yields jail time or worse. It's just literally stupid at this point, and that's saying it nicely! I do not think it's fair for certain states to get a headstart in monopolizing the sale and cultivation of weed, while others are, once again, locked out due to bogus laws localized to their state, which proves that The U.S. is run more like a collection of countries instead of one whole nation with the same laws across the board everywhere. I know legalization has its perils elsewhere in the world, too, but there's something about the way this country has chosen to do it that just really sends the most antiquated message you can think of, which is: "Weed is okay to use, so long as you pay us and we can get tax kickbacks from this and double dip legally by getting money via fines from prohibition states so that we benefit on both ends from a problem we created!" Something more substantial must be done about this issue NOW!

It's not only easy to get a decent crop it brings so much more it's rewarding taking care of plants from seeds to harvest become addictive for some of us even therapeutic when you start to be able to "read" your plants (I even use to call my plants my girls...but I was banned from a forum because once I said that I was about to kill my girls and some believed that I talked about real peoples 🙄💀...so I never use it anymore!) Plus you know what's inside because commercial growers often use growth hormone and lots of synthetic and/or chemicals nutes when you can go a more natural way which is the best way for a personal consumption a good compost some worm casting (I made mine 1 wormcasting made from only fruits that I use during flowering and one with everything else for veg) eggshell with white vinegar for calcium banana peels with milk and molasses for potassium nettle for n comfrey for p dandelion for k and horsetail for calcium fishes emulsion and fish bones also crabs shrimps even crushed shells cover crops... White ash very smooth almost candy like taste on some genetics...not easy to smoke any other buds after! Have a lifted one and lots of good vibes from France growers family

This following statement needs to be THE answer to all questions/answers that American tax payers needs to give on any cannabis legalization talks. First and foremost cannabis needs no more access restrictions or classification, easy access, accountability, etc, than tobacco and alcohol has in place across America Why is this point not being made in every single discussion is beyond my comprehension. Also, big Pharma needs NO control or input on policies that apply to medical or recreational cannabis as there end agendas are always the same and that is that they control it so they control the pricing which is going to negatively effect the cost, accessibility, etc ………100%

I heard that they use cannabis based drops in the eyes to cure it in Israel since a good amount of time now...here in France they stick needles in your eyes and it's less efficient and way more painful...because our government decided that cannabis is toxic and a public health issue but they never explain what kind of public health issue they refer to 🤔...medical cannabis is tested since 3,5 years it supposed to end in March 2024 (was supposed to be 2 years and government won't give money to pay drug for stoners quote so they asked for free medicine for 2 years then they add 1 more year then another the last I hope!) I can't wait to hear what they will say about medical cannabis is safe but recreational is toxic when it's the same!
