I saw "Canned Heat" at the "Palace" on Hollywood and Vine. , across the street from "Capitol Records" ....On the bill was "The James Harmon Band" with "Hollywood" Fats on lead guitar . For Canned Heat - "Bear" Hite on Harmonica. and vocals. 2 very large blues men. A great show indeed. Both passed away soon after from heroin. .. R.I.P.

Fito's been on the drums since December 1967. No, not an original member but a member of the classic lineup. BTW, all the original members are long dead. That said, I'd rather have live canned heat then no canned heat.
