She seems to be manhandling people over-zealously, the celebs are just pausing to step up while watching their skirts, and she's like "Hurry hurry, lolli-gagger, I need you guys to be runnin' up these steps!" But that being said, these stairs aren't the met gala stairs, there's no costumes, but a red carpet event is about the pomp and pause for pictures, it's not a queue for a concert.

For those of you saying the security guard did too much, she was specifically instructed by her boss to keep the traffic moving. Folks wanted to stop and take pics, lay out their train, etc. The security guards had a job to do.

In my entire life, I have never seen people rushed-off of the Red Carpet. I'm sure it has happened, but the fact that we are able to see one security guard aggressively do this to multiple women informs me that she has to go and she's not doing what she's supposed to be doing. But there will always be someone who loves the attention of defending a Karen and/or is just one themself. Not only is her job to protect these individuals because they are celebrities (not to treat them like the people she's supposed to protect them from), but she is only supposed to 'direct' them as well on where they should go next. It is her duty to maintain the flow of the procession, but she, clearly, has gone too far. Why do you think we've never seen anything like this before? These are celebrities who are supposed to be promoting their films at this film festival; not allowing people to do that (which is what this woman continued to do) is not in her job description.

Except she’s the only one doing the shoving, other celebs are being allowed to pause for pictures. That’s why people have been saying it’s unfair and unequal treatment. Not a good look that all the people she’s publicly shoved are of colour either - whether or not she’s actually targeting everyone or just people of colour, it gives of the appearance that it is racially based.
