Chris's more guttural voice suits their earlier stuff better, which was a lot more "brutal." Their newer stuff is a bit more refined and more "standard" death metal, which Corpsegrinder is a lot more suited for. However, Corpsegrinder does the old stuff live really well too.

paul plays triplet quarters, not eighth notes on his cymbals. so he spaces 6 cymbal hits within 4 bass drum hits (the first pattern of the song). so not quite as fast as eighths. He uses triplet quarters on d-beats and up-beats. something he got from listening to Kreator. still, he plays it fucking fast.
