They all do the same aswell as death metal vocalists, its no topic for comparison, the only difference is that most of Death metal vocalists use Flase Chords Growling instead of throat Tunnel teachnique that most of Desthcore ones use, it is Cheap, because it doesnt show the vocal Chrods power as the normal Growling does, its just pressured air passing hard trough the throat. Someone like Will Ramons for example would never be able to sound as demoniac as Chris barnes in this video, Raw techniques will alwayd sound heavier and more natural than the overpolished ones Death core vocalists use.

This is the best performance of this song with Chris Barnes. His voice is so sickening low and deep, it fits the song perfectly. Saw them live @ Graspop 2007, and George Fisher is also fucking insane live. They really are a brutal musical force live.

Back in 1993 I was 18 years old. I was living in Morgan hill, CA, and I used to listen to San Jose state college radio. They had a show called Brain Pain, it was on in the wee hours of the morning. This was my first introduction to Death Metal - they played Morbid Angel, Death, Carcass, and of course, Cannibal Corpse. It totally blew me away for its sheer audacity and brutality. Up to that point, I had thought Anthrax and Slayer and the like were the heaviest of all heavy metal…I was proven wrong! Been a fan of death metal to this day!

smooth not adding lyrics with video lmao There's something inside me It's, it's coming out I feel like killing you Let loose the anger, held back too long My blood runs cold Through my anatomy, dwells another being Rooted in my cortex, a servant to it's bidding Brutality now becomes my appetite Violence is now a way of life The sledge my tool to torture As it pounds down on your forehead Eyes bulging from their sockets With every swing of my mallet I smash your fucking head in, until brains seep in Through the cracks, blood does leak Distorted beauty, catastrophe Steaming slop, splattered all over me Lifeless body, slouching dead Lecherous abcess, where you once had a head Avoiding the prophecy of my new found lust You will never live again, soon your life will end I'll see you die at my feet, eternally I smash your face Facial bones collapse as I crack your skull in half Crushing, cranial, contents Draining the snot, I rip out the eyes Squeezing them in my hands nerves are incised Peeling the flesh off the bottom of my weapon Involuntarily pulpifying facial regions Suffer, and then you die Torture, pulverized At one with my sixth sense, I feel free To kill as I please, no one can stop me Created to kill, the carnage continues Violently reshaping human facial tissue Brutality becomes my appetite Violence is now a way of life The sledge my tool to torture As it pounds down on your forehead

I've never been that big of a fan of Barnes' vocals on 'Tomb', but his live vocals here kick ass! Reminds me of early Suffocation. Wonder why they went with the style that they did on the record? It's always seemed to me as if they went with the philosophy of "as low as humanly possible, screw everything else", resulting in them sounding oddly forced and sort of weak, with no real grit to them. Night and day difference compared to this.
