No doubt, great to watch CC or someone else play that stuff "precisely" - which CC most of the time can't pull off themselves as they are a quite sloppy (live) band -, but musically not very interesting or memorable.

It's amazing how our brains are able to produce maddeningly complex songs such as the American death metal classic that you cover flawlessly here, making the performance look effortless... that it's possible to remember the constantly changing fingering positions, the morphing rhythms, to learn when to start and stop, how to make a split-second decision on at what exact moment to move up and down the neck, how to apply just the right amount of pressure to each string to achieve a smooth flow, and on top of that wordlessly communicate this to the other musicians in the room, who must take into account and on-the-fly adjust their own playing to the ongoing performances of the other band members while performing it, to achieve complete synchrony. That some musicians are able to do this in a live situation as well, and perform not just one, but a whole set of similarly intricate songs, is even crazier. Extremely well done!
