I'm reading he was hallucinating, thinking someone was after him, he went after a cop with a knife BUT if he was hallucinating, he probably thought whomever was after him, the cop was that person. I hope this was a bad acid trip or some other drug related indecent. No one was hurt. I hoping the situation is, he tried drugs for the first time and this entire ordeal was him high. Stay off drugs, pay the fine, let him go on tour and make it mandatory that he does drug tests. Everyone makes mistakes, this whole situation sounds like one BIG mistake/bad experience with drugs. In past interviews and footage of him, he didn't come across like a drug addict, alcoholic. The entire band doesn't seem to mess with drugs, look at fatass Vince Neil, he killed someone from drinking and driving and the ppl he hit have brain damage, yet Vince only got 30 days in jail AND got out in 15 on good behavior, Pat didn't hurt anyone. He was clearly hallucinating.

This is what sets cannibal corpse apart from many of their peers. They don’t just riff soup the entire song. They find something catchy and even when it’s completely ridiculous and frantic, allow it to breathe and settle in before moving along. With a lot of metal bands, songs don’t have time to be catchy or hooky…it’s just RIFF, RIFF, RIFF…the *best of the best* find a balance between entertaining chops and catchy musicality.
