I met Pat a couple of years ago at an Exhorder show and talked to him about this song. Was telling him how its one of my favorite songs in general and thanked him for helping write it. Hands down their best composition ever. They were in a SERIOUS groove when they wrote this. If Gallery of Suicide was all this quality it would've been the greatest death metal album of all time.

Maybe you should listen to the album again, because Gallery Of Suicide is all of that quality, not just the song From Skin To Liquid. Stabbed In The Throat has some of the coolest vocal lines in Death Metal history, Gallery Of Suicide the song is great, Sentenced To Burn is killer. I could go on and on about that album, but you probably already know about it enough. There isn't a bad song in any Cannibal Corpse album in my opinion. They are all unique, even though they have the signature CC vibe, and style. What I love most about the Gallery Of Suicide album is that it has a very haunting quality with the guitar arrangements, even in the faster tempo banger type songs, not just the slower ones.

Groove was an accurate adjective to use for describing this performance. I don't usually find myself moving to a "Death Metal" band like I am listing to "Funk" or some other style that makes you move with a groove. Of course, this is just another reason Corpse is the best Death Metal band ever.

Man id turn from skin to liquid if i got to see this song live. What a killer song to hear live, plus a great album, blood drenched execution is a crushing tune, on a crushing album. Pat O brien, and Jack owen together is just unreal. man so great. That bass to what he plays under the guitars is deadly, and here live fuck it is crushingly tight. Drums are rock solid too. like fucking tight tight!! paul is the king. What that man does on the drums is inhuman!!

The entire Gallery Of Suicide album has a haunting quality to it, even in the faster songs. Cannibal Corpse is one of those bands where the music matches the tone each album cover. I always think about the Gallery Of Suicide album artwork when I listen to that album. I do the same with every other CC album as well. Their music probably matches their album cover art because the artist that creates their album art uses the actual music as inspiration for creating the album art. Some people mistake Cannibal Corpse for being run of the mill Death Metal, but when you look a bit deeper, they are actually one of the most intelligent, coolest bands of all time.
