Great job. Love the attention to the details which can avoid problems. Would love to have the All American canner someday.

You leave your cans in the canner cooling down for 12 hours? That was very interesting. I heard them start to pop as well. I was taught to remove the jars from the canner and leave them on your counter for 12 hrs overnight. They pop during that time as well. Is there a trick to opening the processed jars. I find it difficult to open them. Also, I store them out of sight. Out of sight, out of mind. Better pull them out and start eating 🤗 Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

P. S. Since we have similar tastes. I have a champion tooo. But I believe that I have the next size down. 🤗

No!!!! I take them out of the canner and let them cool down on counter for 12 hours. I am sorry if that's what I implied. As for opening the jars-take the edge of a butter knife and that will help. And yes, if you keep them out of sight-it is hard to remember what you canned. Every now and then, go look and see what you have and plan a menu around it. Thanks so much for watching my videos!

I was sooo afraid to can on my glass top cooker. I thought it would crack the surface.

I checked my manual for my stove before I did it and it said it was ok because I had heard that as well. I have had no issues but definitely check your oven model.
