Nice video! The entry looks a little tight. Is it sidemount only?

No, I have done it in BM doubles with 2 stages. You have to stay off to the left and use some pull and glide/drag and maybe shove with your feet on the ceiling. It has a pretty steady flow you are fighting against. Diving it in SM is definitely easier.

@@LR-bw4nv Thanks! Are there some times of the year you recommend diving it more than others or is it really hit and miss? It's a 9-10 drive from here ;) We've dove Roubidoux but still haven't done Cannon Ball or Mine LaMott.

It is is better in the winter, but you are doing deco in the lake water which is colder. The entrance to the cave is about 35' deep and out away from the shore. If you don't know where it is, you will never find it. The lake water is like chocolate milk until you hit the mouth of the spring. As long as you get several dry weeks, it should be diveable. Average depth is 45' with 3 marked circuits and 600' penetration to the pit. Drop down the pit to 165' then it slopes dow to 280' to a second restriction which is very tight and tough with the flow. If you can make it past there, you can hit 300'+.

Mine La Motte is pretty much diveable year round. I planned on diving there this week, but work got in the way. I have 2 videos on my channel from Mine La Motte. I would be happy to give details on either site in a private message of you wish.
