I feel so blessed to have grown up in the 70's & 80's when despite only having 3 channels, tv was great, now it's hundreds of channels of absolute rubbish with very little family tv, R.I.P. Bobby, you brought joy & laughter to millions, thank you.

They used to visit Oldham Rugby club on a Thursday, when it was Disco night. They would get up and do a song. One night it was announced that our local lads were going to be on TV. I met him years later in a flower shop in Oldham. He was blocking the main door. He turned and opening the door for me, he started the conversation with, "Hello Mrs. Woman, was I in your way?" He chatted to me on and off and was exactly the same as on TV. He was often seen around Shaw in Oldham. Great bloke. Glad to know he is safe with Jesus. Love you Bobby. R.I.P.

Sadly, they fell out in the 80's, & didn't speak unless onstage, for several years! "They admitted that, during their hey-day of huge popularity in the 1980s, they were barely on speaking terms and would avoid each other completely when not on stage or rehearsing. These tensions-which lasted for 3 years - were later resolved and the two became very close once again." - Wiki
