No matter how much it may hurt, its a piece of her she left behind with you and something you can still do "together", listening to it with her in your memory. I've once heard someone say that grieve isn't just sadness and pain, but intense love that has nowhere to go. In a way that is kind of beautiful and puts a whole different light to grieving for a loved one. I hope that wherever your journey leads you that you carry her memory and that overtime you find some peace. Words cannot ease the pain but know that I will now think of your GF when I listen to this song, my brain really works that way. Take care

I love that synthwave has made it into pop. It reminds me that the stuff I’m into is always a year or two ahead of pop culture. I absolutely love these 80’s synthwave drums with almost disco basslines and 80’s synths. Just amazing!

Ditto. In my case I fell in love with this genre back when Kavinsky, Chromatics, Electric Youth etc. created it and it was the soundtrack to the film ‘Drive.’ It was inevitable that people were ready for a “new wave” of sound just like the late 70s into the early 80s.

This song moved me upon my first acknowledgement of its lyrics, rhythm, bass and mood. The video is super Hollywood, as I see it. It's cohesive, intelligible and wonderfully cast, and the performance is grand. Brings back memories of Carrie ( Sissy Spacek) but, now we have a gorgeous performer and performance to leave her "powers" to question. Takes on this are many. My conclusion is that we are powerful in our spirit to live happy to get out of the bad dream...the song is a melancholy ode to the memory...which, as a healthy individual, she sings to move forward. There are no other bands for ME! Cannons ARE my band. Hollywood or Not, They Are 5 Star luxury accommodations for the mind to relax and the soul to purify. Thank you Cannons. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Check out "Love Comes Quickly" (Ultrasound Version - 9.5 minutes long) from the Pet Shop Boys. That song in my opinion is the best track they ever released and never got the recognition it should have.
