'Canny Shields' A song by Paul Allan (Copyright September 2017)

I wrote this song 'Canny Shields' in September last year for the unveiling of the Fiddlers Green statue at North Shields Quay.
This is my tribute to the North Shields fishermen and the wider fishing community past and present. I hope that you enjoy it.

I just found this, Paul - it’s excellent I’ve just put a very different song called Canny Shields on Facebook, which Ed Pickford wrote. It should be ok, but I’m pleased yours is already copyrighted
