I remember the sense of relief I had when I counted the number of people ahead of me and found that I would be in the vest train this past summer. Small correction, but Batman got the new train only a little less than a year ago. I know many were hoping that a second train was on the way last summer, but it's wild that they're still playing headbang roulette. Should re-name the coaster after Two-Face.

Do you think that the full redo (Great Nor'Easter style) would be a financially worth while effort for the myriad parks that still have SLCs? I'm sure a Great Nor'Easter approach wouldn't have the same marketability as just scraping the ride and putting in something new. But replacing them would almost certainly be more expensive. I hate to see the SLCs all go because we know the potential is very good if the tracking and trains are good. It's just that most parks don't want to bother. But I want to believe more parks will do it. What are your thoughts?

Good times. These new lap bar shoulder strap freaks me out. During the first inversion pair my body was all over the place.

That is crazy that they have 2 different trains. My scoring difference would be more like 7 & 5. With the old trains, at my height, I'm lucky that if my head hits anything, it hits the foam, so it doesn't hurt at all. It's just annoying at worst. Still, even I would prefer the vest restraints in general. However, my least favorite SLC is easily the one at Lost Island. It has vest restraints, but the extreme roughness alone gives me a bad headache. 2 of my 3 favorite SLCs have the old restraints, Twisted Typhoon & Gauntlet, because those rode perfectly smooth on my visits.

ednor has kind of the same issue, it dosen't have vest restraints, for now, but the b train rides a lot better in the back than the a train, I actually could count how many times my head hit the restraint, 4 times !!!!

I think it’s just a six flags budget move. They probably needed a new train. So instead of replacing both, they probably bought a new one and used one as spare parts for the old one still used.

Typical ouch coaster just like Flight Deck. Rumor has it that it will be out soon. Don't know when exactly but its going. I doubt Wonderland will change the restraints. I'd ride the B&M train, much more smooth.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
