Kolmarden Wildlife Park Review, Sweden Zoo & Amusement Park | World's Best Zoo?

Kolmarden Wildlife Park or Kolmarden Zoo is a hybrid animal park and amusement park in Sweden. This park originally opened as just a zoo, but ever since Parks and Resorts Scandinavia took over 2 decades ago, they have been adding amusement rides. Most are geared towards families, but they weirdly added the world's tallest wood coaster in Wildfire.

During my 2022 Sweden vacation wildfire is the most intense RMC topper track coaster

I think Lightning Rod and Outlaw Run are more intense, but Wildfire is still great.

7:15 i have an extremely fond memory of this ride. my brother and i were the only ones in line so we got to ride it over and over. im sure we rode it at least 10 times

I'd say it could easily be the worlds best zoo depending on whether you consider parks like Busch Gardens Tampa or Six Flags Discovery Kingdom to be zoos or not.

I was here as a child in the 70s so it was interesting to see the development. Maybe I need to visit it to see what happened and above all ride the roller coaster.

If you like zoos, next time you're visiting the great plains states then be sure to visit the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. It does not have an RMC or any coaster credits. But it is a solid choice for world's best zoo. It's certainly the best one in the USA, yes even better than San Diego. I highly recommend it. Also, on the other side of the midwest the Columbus Zoo in Ohio is amazing. It's not quite on the level of Omaha but it's world class and it does have a family wooden coaster. It's famous for being the Jack Hannah zoo. And it also has a decent size water park. It's a good add on to a Cedar Point and Kings Island trip.
