Canobie, as a former projectionist (I ran the film Cool Runnings) To introduce the movie after the previews, I ran down the aisle past the screen and back up the other aisle waving a Jamaican flag . Between that film & Jurassic were 2 of my favorite films to introduce. I'm glad Seabreeze maintained this "classic"

This coaster actually looks really enjoyable. Simple and classic rides like this are always wonderful

I went to sea Breeze today and it is so wonderfully cool one thing I noticed is that everyone thought the the cars where the us italy Jamaica and Suzy and one problem that could possibly be fixed with new cars and a new braking system is that in the rain they have a policy of 2 per car and one car in one car out this is due to the skid brakes on the midcoarse not working when wet I wish they could get new cars with traditional friction brakes

I didn't know this was the second tubular steel track coaster. It's really cool to have these unique classic rides still around.

It's a historic ride.

as someone who has ridden this since I was like 6, it is a lot smaller that I used to think it was, also considering i just rode millennium force a few days ago

It's a great ride for families though.

This ride is so wonderful the way it mixes the jank of a sixty’s steel coaster with the jank of a small lakeside park is so fun and the crews here are so good fast and very friendly this is a Schwarzkopf wildcat (with a bit less airtime) from before they where cool

I don't have much memory of what the ride did, but it was fun. I do remember the RMC-like pre-lift. I rode it in 2019, so it sounds like I was riding it fresh off the retrack.

I've actually operated this one! If you have any questions about it I'd be more than happy to tell you what I know.

Very cool! Is the section before a helix a mid-course brake?
@rhubarb61782 жыл бұрын
@@CanobieCoaster Great question! In a pinch (say, if a car were to fail to traverse the unorthodox final brake), that section would indeed stop an approaching car. During normal operation, however, it will never engage. You certainly seem to have noticed that this ride isn't exactly stellar in terms of capacity, and part of that issue stems from its bare-bones block system that really only kicks in when there's an emergency that requires a full stop. When the ride is running as intended, a car will dispatch within 15ish seconds of the car behind it coming to a complete stop in the unload area. The sensor that allows dispatch is located just before the first major drop, and weirdly enough has nothing to do with the lift hill. Barring any rider issues, dispatches are roughly 45 seconds apart. All of this, combined with the family-friendly nature of the ride and vehicles that allow for a maximum of four riders, results in a capacity that is particularly frustrating considering the 4-seater Whirlwind is right next door and boasts a dramatically better capacity, despite being much more intense. I suppose it's unfair to compare a Maurer spinner to a 1962 in-house built, second-ever hybrid coaster though. It's a great ride that Seabreeze deserves a lot of credit for keeping around. Please do contact me if you ever make your way around to Seabreeze again - I'd love to try and arrange some unique opportunities for you, in addition to providing operator-level information about many of the thrill rides.

That’s so cool do you know why they have their rain policy at that ride I assume it’s because the skid brakes of the midcoarse don’t work when wet but why not just have a way to deactivate the midcoarse block

Wow is this weird, a hybrid that isn't an Arrow or RMC, and has 1 car, this looks like something I would make in my backyard, I guess my question is, is this still fun as forcelss as it is?
