I love that very familiar Australian feeling on a hot summers day and its 34c and the cicadas are chitting and your rope swinging into the creek/billabong with your friends and camping :)

My happy place to kayak and camp, recognised every shoreline , the cliffs, boulders and sandy beaches. Many of the previous sites you visited Scotty have had a big impact in green growth. Water levels are perfect at the moment but goodness you went during some hot days, the temp gets amplified up in there. As always love your aerial footage. 😃

Pretty under rated channel but definitely the most enjoyable to watch. Keep it simple so everyone can relate. No-one that watches KZbin has time or money to spend all their money on cameras,4wds,boats. the native horticulture you add in is also educational 👌

Whoa, this video was awesome! For someone who enjoys both outdoors and ASMR, it was the perfect match. The sounds of the nature were wonderfully quiet and soothing, and your solo trip looked like such an incredible adventure. Thanks for the inspiration, I can't wait to attempt solo camping myself in the near future!

Just when I think you made a 'best ever' video, you go and make another! The song of the lyre birds was magical. I love hearing everything - the rapids, the cicadas, etc. All part of nature and makes us feel we are right there with you, not thousands of kilometers away still in winter (for me at least).

Stunning views of the rivers, hills, reflections on the water. I enjoyed the sound of the rapids, didn't bother me at all. All a part of nature, like the iguana. The steak and mushrooms looked so good. Sounded like that gin and tonic was a winner. That big bass was indeed beautiful with all the coloration. I enjoyed seeing all the sun and warmth, as here in Wisconsin we have a snowstorm coming in tonight with 5-12 inches of snow. Bloody hell. Spring is just around the corner. Hoo Roo!

Thanks for the amazing video mate. I love the true passion you have for nature and the land and it comes across so genuinely on camera. You are so right! The goanna has it made. The disconnect between modern life and how we lived many moons ago, that is the true tragedy.

Great to see another trip in your gorgeous canoe! Stunning scenery around a lovely river... you're lucky to have these spots to enjoy close by Scotty 👍 It's certainly been hot out on the water lately, but I'm not complaining... at least the paddling restrictions have lifted in SA now, at least up my end of the Murray.

Hey mate, big fan from the Goldy! I’ve always wondered this. When you start canoeing down the river (in the same direction the water is flowing) how do you than get back to your starting point? I know it would be obvious to just canoe back up the river, but I feel like that would be a massive effort. Is that what you do or do you have someone waiting to pick you up at the finishing point (down river)?
