Omg this was awesome!! Im from and still live in this beautiful place wich for everybody who might read this is Robbinsville nc ❤❤ my husband and i actually clean the bathrooms and do the landscaping at the campgrounds and boatdocks here 😊 we actually just did the ones this morning beside where they launched their boat lol and as for the tail of the dragon i absolutely despise that road as well as the sports cars and motorcycles rhat come across it!! The majority of them have zero respect for others on these roads!! Theyll pass you on a double yellow line in a curve and not think twice about it!! A friend of mine actually had a motorcycle wind up under their truck coming around there a few years ago and of course killed the cyclist and that ki d of thing happens ALOT especially in the summer months!! I greatly enjoyed this video and your beautiful family and i am now a subscriber 😊😊

Thanks a bunch for the sub, we have a huge Alaska video series coming soon. This place on Santeetlah was amazing. One of our older videos were geting better at editing and filming. The tail of the dragon is definitely terrible, one of the most dangerous roads In the country. Many people die there each year. And THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK TAKING CARE OF THE FACILITIES!! Thanks for watching!

Canoe trips are the best! We had such an amazing time. We definitely recommend it for families. But maybe less wind! 😆 So glad you liked it! More canoe trips videos coming in the future.

@@silaslutjohann1530Well our kids have a bladder of steel but we always have them go before we leave. HONESTLY us Adults are far more likely to have to go during the trip. But we bring a small potty chair and we could stop anywhere. My wife also plans on training them with something called a go girl that she uses and says is a game changer for women in the outdoors. Thanks for watching!

Do you Go on shore for that?

@@silaslutjohann1530 Paddle to shore in a minute or 2 and they would go. We go canoe all the time and the adults are the ones with issues. Our kids are fully potty trained.

Great video and great memories! We love Fontana Lake and have posted many videos on Fontana but have always been curious if Santeetlah would be a good place to kayak camp. We enjoy how secluded Fontana Lake is even in the summer. Is it a super busy lake in the summer? Are the campsites busy in the summer? Thanks for posting!

We went in mid March. We've never been in the summer. Campsites were everywhere though. Our favorite trip so far will be posted this afternoon 5pm, check out the video. Thanks for watching!
