No need to use peel ply? I'm guessing any resin, such as West System, will work? Thank you for the video

I believe my Nova Craft canoe to be the best in the world. Could it be that skid plates would make it better? How much weight would it add? Can I choose the colour? As I get older I tend to drag rather than lift my canoe. Thanks for the video & Merry Christmas. Brian 77

Hey Brian, Those skid plates will make your canoe "better" by adding an extra layer of protection...great when landing on rocky shores, or skimming over gravel bars. They add between 2 and 3 lbs. total to the weight of your canoe, and yes you can order the kit with specific colour resin. Cheers -Wayne

Yes, 1litre of resin should be enough to do both skid plates.
