FYI... If you make it to the "Crappy Scene" halfway through the video, I've been told by a hunter friend that it is the first anal discharge from a bear that was just out of Hibrination... Glad I was not in the area for that...lol

That must have felt so good to be that bear. I can only imagine. I need David Attenborough to get someone to film that so he can narrate overtop of it.
@moosewhizzerdave20662 жыл бұрын
Ok, well, you learn something new every day. Today I learned that a hibernating bear stores up about 6 linear meters of crap through the winter, and then unloads it all in what must be a very desperate-looking and somewhat hilarious scene (given how scattered it was in that area).
@KilldeerSurvival4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dennis for taking us along. That is very beautiful country. Now that's living right there. Those city folks just don't know what they're missing.I have had float trips with cold,rainy and windy. So windy we had to duck down in the canoe ,cause if we sit up we would go backwards. It was dark by the time we got back to the truck. I think that was my coldest float.

I'm tired of watching winter camping videos now, so I've started digging through the dusty archives of all my favorite channels, and can't believe I hadn't seen this jem yet! What a sweet trip, one of my favorites of yours now. I'm glad you left the camera at home this past season and just enjoyed yourself, but I'm not going to lie, I miss your trip videos. You have the same favorite locations as me - Noganosh, Algoma District and Temagami. I think the only sighting in Algonquin Park more rare than an albino moose would be seeing you paddling through it! lol
@CanoehoundAdventures Жыл бұрын
Thanks Richard. If we enjoy the same areas, maybe we should plan a weekender this summer... I will get back into posting some of my trip video when I find time to edit

@@CanoehoundAdventures For sure, that'd be awesome! Hopefully a greenhorn like me wouldn't slow you down, but I am proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks, thanks to Camper Christina's Udemy course. If anything, I can at least buy you a real coffee the next time you're rolling through Sudbury, instead of that virutal coffee everyone buys you. lol

This was another very enjoyable episode. The weather was not the best but it is what it is. Sometimes it makes for a more memorable trip. I agree with you about the MH Lasagna with meat sauce.
