Yes the 1963 tv series The Forest Rangers was the most famed production shot here. The village set “Indian River” was shot right next to that log cabin you saw.

Useful video. What water level would be optimal? Perhaps about 70% of what you had, with more rocks showing, would be more fun?

Hey Tom! The river was at peak flow and the levels we had were a blast, but I was a tad nervous above some of the weirs given the high flow rate. Slightly lower levels would have been a great ride too. I will send you an email that shows the levels of all gauges along the route over the course of that weekend for your future reference.
