I don’t remember the exact settings. I shoot in manual mode on video and use the auto focus so I’m not entirely sure. When it comes to weight, this setup wasn’t too heavy. The heaviest part is the camera body. The lens is very light.

Hey Larry, thanks for the video. With the 24mm 2.8 pancake lens, were you able to place the camera body at a comfortable distance like 2-3 fts away from you? I want to do vlogging but in a seated position like you did near the end of the video. I have a t6i. I also have a 50mm lens but i had to place the camera body pretty far from me. Because of that, I am not able to see my flip screen. Can you let me know how far the camera body is from you? I want to place the camera at arm's reach which is like 2-3 fts away. Thanks!

Hey. I would say 3 ft. is a comfortable distance for the 24mm lens 4 ft. would probably be the perfect length away for you to be able to punch in as well. Hope this helps.

Hi Larry! Glad I found your channel. Awesome review! I have a question, I have a Cannon T7i and I am getting ready to start a channel myself. My question is about lenses. I have the lens that came with the camera, which is the 18-55 mm, I also have a nifty 50. I will be sitting down mostly, but sometimes I will be standing. Will those lens cover me for both settings (I hope so. lol) or will I need a different lens to cover both sitting and standing? I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Also my space is pretty small. Thank you

Thanks for checking out the video. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I believe those lenses should cover you, just make sure you have enough lighting. The kit lens doesn't have the widest aperture so having enough light would be my main concern. Hope this helps!

What about the humming sound it makes during video Recording.

That humming is the camera hunting for focus. If your subject is not moving around, I suggest locking focus. If your subject is moving, then that is something you'll have to work around.
