A very interesting variant of the video on how you can stretch the installation of an update (which can be done in 5 minutes) to 25 minutes. To be honest, I thought that this video would spend about 5 minutes on the installation and the rest of the time would be showing what's new in the update.

@@TPJ_ProductsReviewsbyTri-bu9gq Thank you, too, for the detailed video. It will be interesting to see what's new in the firmware. I bought the same camera a couple weeks ago. I had one back when they first came out, but after a few months of using it - it was stolen. I haven't picked it up since) And just recently bought it again. Have to get used to it again. I still can't understand why if I put PL filter on the lens (Canon USM 50mm, 1.4), then very often the camera doesn't come into focus, but focuses on something else. If I put the PL filter on another lens, everything focuses normally.

You picked the right camera. Canon 5D Mark … is a proline. They have shutters lifespan of 150,000 if I’m not mistaken and very durable. As I can see that the lens has a problem. Try the lens with the PL on a different body if it gets the same thing then I can say that the lens got a problem. Also try to clean the copper contacts at the rear of the lens. Hope it can fix. I want to sell mine. It has only a couple of thousands shutter counts. I switch to a different job as I can’t make a living with this photographer job

@@TPJ_ProductsReviewsbyTri-bu9gq Speaking of durability. My unit has been around 213,000. But that's normal. Many people write that these models go through more than a million and work perfectly. Even 500,000 is not much for this model. So 150,000 is not a big deal for it.

@istominmusic yah it was tested in the lab where they kept pressing down the shutter button and let it run until the shutter broke, as I know. In the real life, did anyone do as the tech do in the lab ? That’s why the camera can last longer. I love my camera but I have to sell it and switch to doing another job for living as to keep it requires the good care too. If you’re interested DM me.
