KUDOS to You ! ! Among a number of KZbin videos on how to downgrade the 5D Mark III's firmware from 1.3.6 to 1.1.3 or 1.2.3, yours is the most concise and clearly demonstrates the single card/battery door technique for firmware downgrading. It's all in the timing of hitting the OK/SET button while opening the battery door. It took me about 4 tries before my timing reflexes achieved the necessary sequence interval. Thank you for this. I have an extension battery pack on my 5D and it needed to be fully pulled out to pause the firmware update process. Just unclasping the opening (as on the standard battery door) was not enough. Big thanks.

eventually got it to work with 1.2.3, didn't work with 1.1.3. Kept getting the message that there was no firmware on the card, but worked first time with 1.2.3 which was bit hard to find online, but when I did, worked like a charm

Thank you very much! I downgraded to 1.2.3. First try didn't because I deleted 1.3.6 from the card. Then I tried again adding 1.2.3 in the card without deleting 1.3.6 and it worked! Thank you!

@@harikumarstudio So my 5D was on 1.3.3, I got it down to 1.2.3 no problem. But When i go to the ML page for main builds & i get to the 1.2.3 build and download it, the files I get don't match up with the files everyone else I'm following along with have, and doesn't work.
