Canon 5D mark iii Test Footage

This is test footage from the Canon 5D mark iii. Simple shots made in succession to test the basic ability of this camera. All of the shots were a 60 of a second Shutter Speed, 25fps (1920x1080 ALL-I), and 100 ISO. I used a Standard Picture Style. Sharpness and Contrast all the way off, and Saturation down by 2.
Lenses used:
Canon 50mm f/1.4
Nikkor 85mm f/2.0 AI-s
Nikkor 20mm f/2.8 AI-s
Minolta 35mm f/2.8 Rokkor-X

You know Greta you all have a way with words that warms the heart, thank you. As for the pre-roll ad I was lost down that road for a longtime, and then I became a Vice President of The DREWnetwork, which as you know is a game changer.

Yes it arrived! I fell asleep while exporting this footage. When I woke up I couldn't wait to see what had happened. So far I am impressed. The "live view" is fantastic by the way. I was indeed shocked by the 50mm in full frame, and when I popped my 20mm on I nearly fell over. But the reeal treat was my half hearted slider test's of the 85mm. Freaking amazing. Can't thank you enough for all the help Drew.

I take this as confirmation it's arrived. In technical terms this was the best looking footage you've ever produced. That 85mm should be a new lens on the m3. Closer to your 50mm on the 7D. And, of course, that 50mm should be so wide it's almost shocking.

So this is the one I should be looking for to buy. My wife has a photographer come to the daycare to take quality photos of the children. I want to take over that job. Is this an all around camera for indoor outdoor etc. . Be a nice hobby and the money go into more camera equipment.

I've got a dead bug stuck to the inside of one of my old prime lenses. A Minolta 58mm f/1.2 Rokkor. My brother gave me the lens, and I'm pretty sure it is a Maine Black-fly pressed up against the glass. I'm headed to the hills this weekend. I don't own a zoom lens, but the moon creates enough light to make for interesting long exposure shadow stuff. Have fungus, ah, I mean fun.

I hated to do it but I sold my 7D. Actually to a subscriber. Nice guy, who will actually create with it. So far the 5D mkiii is performing fantastically. (...and yes the 20,000 mls I put on my pick-up, which got claimed with my taxes also helped)

I think what might better suit you is the camera that Buck uses. It's a Canon 60D, and it is an awesome camera. I have your email, I'll send you some info/links...

wow, these might be the prettiest test pictures EVER! .. =D .. the canon 5D performs beautifully!! ♥ .. do you think you'll be happy with it? it seems like it takes terrific quality video .. =)
