@@Leo_Santisteban it is a Chevrolet Cavalier 2003 manual 4doors. when i bought it was around 14yo. it had some problem with the IAC, handbrake and needed new tires and a battery. i fixed it myself and now i have been driving it for 4years~. i am in north america. edit: i forgot to say. it was a car somebody gave to a dealership in exchange for a small rebate on a new car. the car dealership then put it for sale online for 300$.

It was awesome seeing the few shots you got with this lens Kai. You look at the Flickr pages for it and they are all the same close up perfect crop of a tiny bird sitting on a branch. But here you actually manage to capture the scene in context. Especially that bird cloud with the mountains in the background. f/4 was the perfect aperture for that shot too, Just the right amount of smoothing done to the purple mountains

These straps sucks. "Hello, look at me, I have 5d iv/6d/1dx, rob me!". Better are these which you can use with quick coupler (the same like in tripod).

It's an optically great lens. HOWEVER having mobility is the key to consistent wildlife photography. I see it with my friends that own the older 600. they are stuck with huge hey rigs that make them sit in one location and shoot from the same perspective over and over. It's very limiting!!! If even rather an m43 over that lens bc of that.

Erm, the Nikon Paul is using is the Nikon 600mm F4 E FL VR. Not the older G version. It's lighter than that Canon 600MKII.

Im so tempted to get the Sigma 500mm F4 Sport for that "prime quality" but my sigma 150-600 is sooooo versatile for any wildlife work Im doing and I would still need to carry both lenses around with me as you never know what your going to be capturing when out doing wildlife. I think the 500mm would be more of a want than need.

I live on a bird sanctuary and I'll be getting the 600 soon. Idk if i would be happier with a 1dxii or a 5div. It seems like now there is less reason to go with the 1d for autofocus reasons alone. Just with these telephotos it would be nice to have the 30 mp of the 5D with the higher voltage battery in the 1d

Hmm yeah... when you say that the Canon newest 600mm is lighter than "the Nikon Paul is using", you don't make clear that he's using the previous version of the newest Nikon 600mm, which weights 3810g. So, you should have said that Nikon has a lighter and newer version just for the sake of making a fair comparison =)
