The color schemes in each shot are so dreamy and intentional, it reminds me a lot of Wes Anderson's films and his use of color to progress a storyline, rather than dialogue. Her expression gives the film such emotional weight. I feel like I'm seeing the world through her eyes. Really stunning short film, one of the best I've seen out there.

Direction, photography, editing and acting ... all of a high level! The proof that to make quality there is no need for a budget. You touched my soul! congratulations from Italy

I love this... Finally someone captures in a full(er) production what a Canon 60D can do in film, when some sort of care to quality audio is fully involved. I often see people not pay attention to the sound and only care about the 60D because it creates a beautiful image especially with a nice lens. But is really interesting because the audio is engaging and makes for a great video. Nice job!

Hey mike, Great job! I loved the composition of 95% of the shots, and i am baffled by the image quality that you were able to get with the 60D. There was only one thing that bothered me. the shots in the first four minutes were constantly crossing the 180 degree line making it very confusing to watch. just something to consider.

Hi there, Firstly, not sure if you will see this, but seriously, the film is amazing. Composition and the Cinematography is stunning, especially at 4:15 onwards. It's definitely one of my favourites I've seen. Not sure if you would be able to guide me on this, but I am trying to pick up a DSLR for Christmas/Holiday's, and trying to decide whether to get the Canon 600D with a Kit 18-55, 50mm and a 70-300mm, or a Canon 60D with a simple 50mm, keeping the 70-300mm for another day. From your personal experience, is it worth as a beginner getting the 60D just chucking in an extra tele for the 600D? Many Thanks, and I hope to see more stuff!

60D...bigger sensor than the 600D. :)
@WolfboundEdits10 жыл бұрын
Lone Stranger Well, I did actually purchase the 60D and an ND filter as Mike suggested further below in the comments. I'm absolutely loving the camera, it's great for stills aswell as video. I use Magic Lantern with mine too, so I can frame with the extra features and change specific things on the camera. Just need a tripod though for long exposure/long shutter speed photos because I'm not too steady with my hands. Either way, *****, if you see this, thanks for your recommendation. I really appreciate the advice and I'm really happy with my 60D.
@AlphaMegaOmega10 жыл бұрын
M A C K I got the T5i for now. Didn't know much about DSLRs so yeah. Now I'd like me a full frame DSLR instead of the ASP-C that comes with the compact DSLRs. I want the 5D. 60D is nice too. Depends how much money I have when the time comes. Don't forget its about lenses too....
@WolfboundEdits10 жыл бұрын
Lone Stranger Yeah, the T5i is certainly a great camera - might I say it's not got a huge difference to the 60D. I was considering buying the T5i too... I'm going to hopefully be studying Photography and Media Studies/Production as an A-Level (I'm guessing your in the US as you refer to the 700D as the T5i, so 16-18 college) so I wanted something that would grow as I learn over the course of the next 2 years, so I bought the 60D. By the way, I was going to say the 7D Mark II as something to look at - amazing money and you could chuck in a cheap L lens with it but I just remembered it's an APS-C sensor. :(
@AlphaMegaOmega10 жыл бұрын
M A C K I'd like a full frame sensor. The 7D Mark 2 is not?

***** yea, 50 shutter. It should technically be 48, but the dslr cams dont give you that shutter speed, so you try to get as close as possible to 48, so you do 50 shutter. Known as 180 degree shutter.
