Canon EOS R vs R6 in Landscape & Astro Photography

Dude if doing a head to head and comparing I would suggest comparing shots using same settings. I noticed when comparing Aurora shots shutter speeds were different. That resulted in an inaccurate comparison.

As an amateur the EOS R is great, but the touchbar is indeed a weird choice and im still sad about the cropped 4K

intertesting seems like the R retains more detail for astro i mean i guess it is 10 more megapixels. The noise is also smaller and I feel it has better color at high ISOs

Why did you use a different setting when comparing the two cameras (shutter speed, focal length), in favor of EOS R (2 sec vs 2.5 sec, 4sec vs 5sec, 21 mm vs 22 mm)?

yeah it's strange of course the R will be more good but even that the R6 still hold the competition

21 vs 22 was a mistake from switching lenses, I shouldve stayed at 15mm, and the astro settings are different because the aurora changed slightly so I wanted similar exposures

This test it's completely useless, of course if you have 50% more megapixel you can crop more, but clearly the r6 has a superior sensor, better dynamic range, iso performance...
