Can you explain how to toggle between the black screen with your settings on it to the live view screen? I have the 5D 4 on which you just press the video Start/Stop button. I dont see this button on the r5. I have been looking for this answer but haven't found it yet. Hopefully my R5 will be here soon I ordered it from Adorama the 1st of September.

Hey, Can you tell, why is Adobe Lightroom missing Canon R5 (R6 EOS RP, 1DX MII and so on ) camera matching profiles (standard, vivid, portrait etc) It’s seems its a kind of big problem in Adobe forums for so many camera users. Seems EOS R was last camera what got Camera Matching Profiles for Lightroom.

Looks very promising. One feature that would be cool is if we could have more than 1fps for timelapse for example 2fps or 3fps. With our 1DX II we often shot timelapses of fast moving clouds at 5fps for example, but this needs external control.

They might since M50 is more like an entry-level camera. Not everyone can spend AUD 2000-3000 for cam like R6 (which is the cheaper version of R5) just for starting out.

Amazing camera certainly not aimed at the average shooter but we expected that, what we didn't expect was $5000 for the 100 to 500. The only advantage is that at the price at least getting a 10% discount at sale time is a decent discount lol.. Oh well no upgrading for me sadly..

From a pro-Video perspective: dont call it a Bcam unless you dont give the Option to put clog2 in it (paid upgrade would be absolutely acceptable). Evreything else: Good Job 👍🏻. But without the Option of clog2 - no valid Bcam for quite a lot of professionals (Video) - my guess

R5 can not record longer than 30 min in 4K. No 4K Raw. Overheats in hot weather . HDMI ? Other than that it’s a great camera.

Seems like it's not really a good choice for videos. It will overheat after 10 minutes and the codec is kinda hard to manage.

@@terrydanks 8k it's 20 min if indoor with a specific temperature. They say that without the ideal temperature it will last less. It's written in another official video, it's not my hobbie to spend my time thinking about the next fake news on the canon r5. It's interesting that they don't share the same infos in every official video. Kinda tricky. Here they don't mention the overheat at all. In the other video it's on the while screen at the end of the video
