@@carriesearskohles7891 The main reasons are the fully articulating screen, and the battery grip with a shutter button on it...These 2 things are musts for my style of shooting. 2 cards slots doesnt hurt either...

Great video as I’m about to pick up the R6 tonight. I gotta be honest, the best part was the photo tip about recreating the sun. It’s Thursday here and I have three bookings this weekend. Hope I can get accustomed to the R6 in two days!

If you have used a Canon I think it would be a breeze. Even though I was coming from another system I found both cameras to be very intuitive to use. Good luck with the shoots!

Great video! Loved the intro. While I was never in the market for an R5 as a hobbyist - it is good to know the R6 can hold up for me should I be able to transition into photography for hire.

No surprise to me. Actually, I rather have that dial than the display on the R5, but I do like having CFexpress on the R5 and wish Canon had just included two of them, but it is what it is. Enjoyed that bit at the opening.

Nice comparison and cool intro 😂. One other thing I like in the R5 over the R6 is better EVF (though haven't seen the R6 EVF myself). Some might prefer the CFexpress slot but that's not so important to me.

I went with the R5 (two of them) over the R6 because I depend on the top LCD display and the R6 doesn't have it. I don't need 8k video or anything like that since I'm mainly a still-image photographer, so I could have been happy with the R6 if it weren't for the lack of top LCD. It's cool that they both use the same battery grips. I've had the *temperature warning* icon show up during at least 4 weddings and I've tried the latest firmware updates on one EOS R5 body and leave the original firmware on the other for comparison. It's been interesting and I hope to have my KZbin video out all about my EOS R5 experiences in about a week.

Do these things have same auto white balance sensor?

I'm not sure about the sensor but the white balance sensor but the R6 files definitely have more of a magenta cast than the R5.

Nice video man! I Am gonna buy canon R6 ,is sigma 24-70 f2.8 better than the kit lens 24-105 f4 kit lens? what's your opinion with which lens should I go with

Thanks, Soham! I would stop short of saying one of those lenses is better than the other since you need to decide based on what you're photographing. I will say that currently that Sigma would require an adapter and if you don't need those extra couple stops then I would probably opt for the kit lens and wait for native RF Sigma glass.

As an experienced photographer, are the photos from the r6 good enough for large prints? I bought it a month ago but considering upgrading to r5 to get a “forever” type of camera, in case i needed to print or crop. My last camera was a 7D so this is a big jump already. 😅

Hey Dima, I guess it depends on your definition of "large prints". If you're consistently printing 16x20's and larger and sometimes need to crop in then I would say R5.
