Whats up! Question. with the R we have a mode button that gives us an awesome screen for video. These option are, A+, Program AE, Tv, Av, M, C1, C2, and C3. C3 is linked to the Record button when in photo mode. This is valuable to me with the R. The RP does not have a mode button, it has a dial. When the Dial is in video mode I only get movie auto exposure, Manual, and HDR without being able to program anything to the record button when in photo mode. Do the RP and R6 have that in common? Or does the R6 share the same video options as the R. Cheers from LA Nuclearfrank!!!

@@notablog4750 that is the history of Canon !No stabilizing on the camera itself...so you need to buy over expensive stabilize inside lenses!

I'm a stills shooter for the last 30 years... and my Canon 5Dii still rocks with the right glass on the body!!!! :) Do we really need bigger/better to this extent? Of course Canon wants to convince us purchasing yet another new camera with more processing power than the PC taking humanity to the moon in the 1960s... AND it cost as much as a second-hand car!!!! I admit that the "true silent mode" is very useful during weddings, nature shots etc, but is it worth the money for a semi-pro? In the old days (pre-digital) photographers used what today is sneered at, a mechanical metal box with a piece of glass in front + 36 negatives and no "auto" anything what so ever... still they produced fantastic images that still stands the test of time. OK, if I had a million on the bank I might buy one of these R5/R6 toys... but as long as I live in the real world I will keep to the great second-hand gear that flooding the markets.... most of this type of gear cover 98% of what us semi-pro and/or amateurs need. If I ever need an R5/R6 these for a job which I doubt... then I will not buy one, I just rent it for a day.

The old days are gone. A professional photographer-whether it be a wedding, sports, or journalist photographer-who isn’t considering a mirrorless camera in their future is doing themselves a disservice. Think about how more discrete a wedding photographer can be inside a church, or a sports photographer shooting a golfer, or a journalist photographer at a press conference… click click click click, clack clack clack clack. Those days should come to an end.

Скажите ,а у canon r5 в 4к120fps пишет звук и есть автофокус? Canon r6 пишет в FHD 100fps тот же вопрос. Буду признателен если вы сможете на них ответить!

R6 has same sensor as 1DX3 and you wouldn’t recommend it for stills. 1DX3 is the camera used for shooting professional sports. I think it will do stills just fine. 20MP is plenty in the world of posting images.

the 1DX3 is a one trick pony its for pro sports photographers nothing else in 2020 20MP is nothing 35+ is really where you want to be so ya its not going to be great for stills but like he said in the video he has ordered both so hes going to do side by side still comparisons

You are correct sorry for misspeaking. But don’t the mark ii and mark iii have almost an identical sensor ?

@@TbonesTech No they are not, there is a complete 1 stop of dynamic range increase. Moreover native ISO increased to 102400 from 51200. Approx same megapixels doesnt mean same sensor!
